Blasting off into ONE!

It is crazy to believe that we have seen our last 1st birthday party in this family?!??! How is it possible that our littest has finally turned one??????

CRAZY! 

So for Lincoln's birthday we had a Rocket Theme party :) I loved it. This time around it was so low key, super easy, and just fun. Kinda like Lincoln, super low key, easy and fun!

We kept the guest list simple and focused on our family, closest friends, and Lincoln's baby buddies.

He loved the excitement of everyone in the house.

Cake smashing took a little warming up to, but once he figured it out he had a blast!

Then add to the fun the excitement of presents and finding toys and snacks buried under tissue paper and he was in heaven!!!

Just past midnight

The clock just creeped past midnight and we are officially on Nov 2, 2013.....your first birthday! 

Crazy how a year has come and gone since the day you were born. Lincoln, I wish there were words this side of heaven to express how much I love you!

6 Month Moose

           

 

Oi! Hard that half a year has passed by already with our littlest!!!! CRAZY! 

He is the sweetest little who talks to himself, giggles at the bigs, loves to nurse, not so much a snuggle bug, average sleeper, amazing napper and all around perfect fit for our crazy crew! 

His 6 mo stats were: 19.6# and 29"

He isn't sitting up or moving enough so we have to work on that, but he is doing well otherwise. Hates cereal and baby food, loves pasta sauce, nursing and his Sophie toy! 

My first last

Yesterday we said good bye to our baby swing....it served us well....all our babies slept so peacefully in it. Had it not been for the fact that my little moose was too heavy for it (and literally made the motor stop because he was too heavy!) we would still be using it....my moose is getting bigger and soon we will be parting with more baby stuff! Bittersweet :)

My four month dude

At four months my tiniest dude is a whopping 17.4 pounds and 26" long!!! Not really very little I guess....we are in a pretty solid 9 month clothing situation and working really hard on being able to roll over that big ole belly 😜

Lincoln loves to squeal at the top of his lungs, flirts when he feeds which totally makes a mess everywhere and he thinks it is hysterical! Not so much, dude!

He is just sooooo stinking sweet ❤

3 Months Flew By

Whew! That was fast.....like crazy, insane fast!!! I keep telling myself things will slow down now that the holidays are behind us, but I highly doubt that. 

I am SOOOO in love with this little man. 

2 month visit

Happy....healthy...5 vaccines :(

One month with our newest man!!! It goes too fast :/

Lincoln checked in at 12.2 pounds and 24 inches. (That was a 2 lb and 2 in gain in 2 weeks!)

Off the charts for weight and height and 69% for head.

Day 10

Crazy!!!! 10 days passed by in a blink!

We have ventured out of the house...alone with all three of you boys and myself in the car. Granted we met Nena shortly after leaving the house :)

First doctor visit was successful...screaming and all. We're down to 8 lb 13 oz. but my milk had just come in, so I look forward to seeing what you bounce up to this week when we return.

You sleep in the swing when at home. Mostly because you lay down in the crib and roll to your side! Freaks me out!!!! You shouldn't be doing that at all yet! So you sleep 4 hour stretched at night in the swing and we are all happy.

Umbilical cord came off this morning!!! Yeah! (I hate the nasty brown stuff and the icky smell it makes.)

Tomorrow you are getting a solid scrub down :)

You stay awake for a good spell of time in the evenings when your brothers go to bed which is kind of nice. Also think you do this since you were born in the evening and your clock might be a little off.

Hate getting strapped into your car seat but you don't seem to mind the car rides at all as you often fall asleep. (Thank you Jesus!)

You are beginning to startle at noises and be aware of your surroundings.

You love to snuggle up and sleep on me or Nena, or anyone for that matter but like to left alone while awake to stretch and look around.

Beginning to find and explore your hands.

Seem to be happy to take a pipe :)

Newborn clothing is getting tricky because you are so long!!! But some three month stuff is still to wide for you.

Here you are in the pj that was Liam's favorite....don't know if I will be able to fit you in it much more :(

Fresh

The clock in my recovery room just ticked 5:57 p.m. and I have a sweet big little love in my arms.

Very hard for me to believe this is all actually real. My bigs have come and met him and almost all of extended family has arrived and been introduced.

Oh my word, this is so different Loving your last compared to loving your first or second. Everything is so raw and unfiltered somehow.

I can't believe he is here! How did God let this little life come into our world and why us?

Hello Monday

Welcome to my Monday and Thursday mornings :/ Attached to fetal monitors at SMH to monitor how well baby is moving and my amniotic fluid levels.

My OB is out of town this week, great! So since baby kicks and then stays still for hours, he decided to make me get monitored while he is out of town. Hearing the heartbeat is cool, the thought of seeing him on the ultrasound was good.....except for the fact he is now so big that you can't see anything but his back and butt :)

So we drive up to the hospital and drive back....and wait patiently for these tests to finish and baby to make his debut....definitely glad we haven't had to do these tests each pregnancy!

Littlest Man Shower

I LOVE parties, when I get to throw them or just come as a guest....but to be the center of the party kinda makes me anxious....like a lot! And, it felt kinda silly to do a baby shower for the third baby, especially the third boy at that...but Casie insisted that "every baby needs to be celebrated" so she hosted the most ADORABLE "Little Man" shower! Aside from hanging out with the sweetest ladies ever, I absolutely loved seeing all of her touches, details and the creative eye.
